Jari Williamsson sort un autre "gros" plug-in concernant la gestion des altérations de précaution : JW Accidentals, en version 1.01 (correction quasi immédiate de 1.0).
Plus fiable que celui qui est inclus dans Finale, il offre aussi beaucoup plus de possibilités, ce qui lui permet de gérer de nombreuses situations.
Le plug-in repère et corrige les altérations de précaution dans une zone sélectionnée. L'utilisateur dispose d'une liste d'options à sélectionner pour les appliquer ensuite.
Un outil très puissant.
Pour Finale 2010 et versions plus récentes.

"A new plug-in is now available for download, called "JW Accidentals".

It's for Finale 2010 and above. This plug-in helps to find and correct cautionary accidentals in the document. It works differently than other cautionary accidentals solutions for music notation software, since it first provides a list with suggested accidental changes. In the next step, the user confirms which of the changes that should be made.

"JW Accidentals" contains numerous options to fine-tune the processing, handled through Setting Profiles."

Version 1.02 of "JW Accidentals" is now available for download with the following additions/changes:
* Added a "Scan+Change" button, that will make the changes without a review
* Grand staves now work on pre-Fin2012 version as well (the plug-in makes a guess by looking at 2-staff high groups with piano braces with a group name)
* Double-clicking in the result will now toggle the check marks between "all ON" and "all ON".
* Fixed a crash that happened when "Restate Differences After Key Sig Change" is OFF
* Fixed a crash on the Mac that sometimes could occur when user exits Finale

"JW Accidentals" version 1.03 is now available for download. The following bugs are fixed in this update:
* Measures with independent key signatures now work correctly (most notably, when checked against other staves) and report the correct sounding pitch.
* "Delete" button in the Settings Profile Editor now works on the Mac
* "Apply" button in the Settings Profile Editor now works on the Mac

Nettoyage d'un bug.

"JW Accidentals" version 1.04 is now available for download. It fixes one bug: When a change of accidentals was tried to be made in parts view, the plug-in just gave an error beep.

"JW Accidentals" version 1.05 is now available for download. New in this version are:

* Accidentals for tied notes over system breaks can now be reported, through a separate option list in the Settings Profile window.
* Plug-in will now always freeze cautionary accidental conflicts within an entry, since Finale will otherwise hide accidentals on non-perfect unisons if parentheses aren't used.
* Plug-in now assures that a region is displayed when highlighting reference grace notes using the "[ ]" button.

* Fixed a tie-over-system-break scan bug where "Scan current/part" would scan everything instead.

* User interface change: Double-click in the report list will now do the same as the "[ ]" button.
* Added a "Check All/None" button.
* Added a separate option to control parentheses for ties over system breaks.
* All cautionary accidentals added to transposed staves are now automatically frozen, to ensure that the accidentals stick.
* Fixed a bug where a grace note before a main note with accidental would make the main note invisible for analysis.
* Fixed a bug related to ties over systems, which gave very inaccurate results earlier.
* Fixed a bug where settings profiles wasn't saved on Finale for Windows 2011 and 2010
