Jari Williamsson a complètement revu son plug-in JW Expand Region, qu'il propose maintenant en version 2 (l'ancienne version 1 est toujours disponible), pour Finale 2010 minimum.
Ce plug-in offre de multiples possibilités supplémentaires.
On sélectionne une mesure, et le plug-in étend la sélection, vers la gauche ou vers la droite : jusqu'aux doubles barres de mesure, changements de tonalité, d'indication de mesure, lettres de répétition, débuts et fins de région de numérotation de mesures, etc...

"A "new" plug-in is now available for download, called JW Expand Region version 2.00.

It's a completely new design of the old Expand Region plug-in, with much more functionality. For Finale 2010 and later. (The much-more-limited 1.00 version is still available for download.)

New in version 2:
Modeless dialog window user interface (you can have the plug-in window open while you work with the document)
Expand to key signature change option
Expand to time signature change option
Expand to Start/End of document option
Expand to measure number region start/end option
Expand to system boundaries option
Expand to page boundaries option

Mise à jour en version 2.01, recommandée pour les utilisateurs de la version Windows, qui se plantait apparemment au démarrage dans Finale 2012.

* The last used mode is now stored on disk
* Removed version info from window title bar (Windows)"

Mise à jour en version 2.02.

JW Expand Region, version 2.02 is now available for download on Windows and Mac. For Mac users, this is also a mandatory update (for stability reasons) if you're using any recent version of OSX or Finale.

New/fixed in this version:
* Last window position is remembered
* Regions with composite time signatures can now be expanded correctly
* Composite time signatures are represented correctly as text in the window info
* Built for Cocoa on the Mac (requires OSX 10.7 or later)
* Much smaller executable file size on Windows.
