Il est destiné aux documents qui utilisent les paramètres d'exécution vivante (et non Human Playback). Il permet de copier le "feeling" de l'exécution (jouée au clavier dans l'outil Hyperscribe ou importée en midi par ex.) d'une portée donnée vers d'autres portées.
Entre autres, il applique la même attaque, la même durée aux notes situées à la même position et ayant la même durée.
Tout ceci n'a aucune incidence "visuelle" sur la partition, mais concerne plutôt le "feeling" de la lecture / Playback.

"A new plug-in is now available for download, called "JW Live Sync".
It's for Finale 2010 and later. This plug-in is for documents that use live performance data (instead of Human Playback). It syncs the live performance data between staves in the document, to produce the same playback "groove" in all the staves.
Mark the target region where you want to sync the live performance data. Mark the source staff for the groove (to sync to) in the plug-in window. The source staff can be a part of the destination region.
Start time and velocity will be adjusted if source and target notes start at the same position in the notated music. End time will be adjusted if the source and target notes start at the same position, and have the same duration in the notated music."
